If Easter is about the power of God, then the Friday before is about the weakness of humanity. Join us for our Good Friday service as we hear the crucifixion story, sing worship music and take communion together.

Redemption Church's Good Friday service will take place at the Church Office at 7:30 p.m.

Easter is the most joyous time in the church, the celebration of Christ's resurrection! Join us as we sing praises, hear the Easter message and rejoice in our savior Jesus Christ.

Redemption Church meets in the upstairs gym in the Dowd YMCA, at 9:30 a.m.

Have you been baptized as a follower of Jesus? If not, we would love for you to get baptized at Redemption on Easter Sunday. Baptism is an early Christian ritual showing your old life being buried with Christ (immersion in water), and you being brought to life by Jesus (out of the water). It not only represents individual salvation of your new life with Jesus, but also shows you being baptized into a new community, a new family, the church. This is why baptism is done in the presence of the whole church gathered. Baptisms will take place after worship in the Dowd YMCA pool.

If you would like to be baptized,  email us.

At Redemption Church, we love to gather in community and one of the best ways to gather is over a good meal. Our Easter Potluck, taking place in Latta Park directly after baptisms. (The rain plan is to have the potluck  at the Dowd YMCA.) Please consider signing up to bring a dish or drink to share. Redemption will be providing honey baked ham and fried chicken . You may also want to bring some lawn games as well as fold-out chairs or picnic blankets, as seating will be limited.

RSVP to the potluck here.

The Redemption Kids Easter Egg Hunt is one of our highlights of the year! The Easter Egg Hunt will take place at Latta Park right before the potluck.  (The rain plan is to have the egg hunt in the gym at the Dowd YMCA.)The Easter Egg Hunt is available for kids 1 years-5th grade. (Kids will be divided into "younger kids" and "older kids".) Please bring your own basket and get ready to hunt some eggs!
